Who doesn’t love clean, modern design? This is some major inspiration done by yours truly and it is immaculate! If you search on Pinterest for Clean Minimalism, this is the kind of atmospheric vibe you would see. We have talked about Minimalism before and the concept doesn’t seem to be leaving us any time soon. If you love this gorgeous chandelier as much as we do, you can find it at Visual Comfort. It adds such a dynamic touch to the room. We are swooning over the clean and crisp whites and the accents of black and gray. There are so many different ways that you can style your space in the Minimalist concept even if there is less to work with.
As much as it is a concept, it’s a lifestyle. For some, it can mean letting go of anything that doesn’t spark joy and then embracing simplicity in every room. For others, you may already live simply and you just need to find a way to make sure that your personal style reflects that. For many of us being in a simple and clean space can ignite passion and creativity while also helping us to remain calm and grounded. There is a feeling of peace to it. This room is simple and free of clutter and even too much color. If that calls to you, embrace it.
It doesn’t have to be clean and crisp whites though. Minimalism may be minimal but you can use organic materials and you can even include more of a color palette within your space. Just because it welcomes simplicity doesn’t mean you have to feel restricted. You can find focal pieces that speak to your personal style and even bring the room to life, like large mirrors, plants, chunky throw blankets, and stylish pillows and cushions. You can get as creative as you want while still maintaining minimal. Remember to find ways to add your own interesting touch just like we did with the chandelier. Maybe in your case, it is an area rug or a beautiful side table.
You can still choose your Mid-Century Modern or your Scandinavian or your Traditional or even your Bo-ho, while still preserving a Minimalist vibe. It all comes down to hand picking your palette and your favorite pieces while being selective and not adding too much clutter to the space. Spend some time brainstorming and maybe even making a Pinterest board for inspiration. We love seeing all of the beautiful ways to design and style your space. You can always color outside of the lines and think outside of the box. It’s what makes your personal style, YOURS. We hope to be a source of inspiration for any fun and new interior design adventure that you are planning to take. If you think you could use some help, don’t hesitate to reach out! We are looking forward to working with you to bring your vision to life on the inside and the outside of your home!
